1. What is your favorite sandwich?

any type of turkey.. add some avocado, cranberry chutney, provolone cheese.... yummmmmm

2. What is stashed under your bed/mattress?

pictures that used to be on my walls...

3. What is your favorite flower?

gerbera daisy

4. What is your favorite magazine?

don't have just one... Southern Living, Cottage Living, Country Living, Scrapbooks Etc. i could go on and on and on... I'm a slight magazine ho!

5. How often do you weigh yourself?

maybe once a month... i now use a tape measure and even then it's about once a month. it's been friendly the past few months ;o)

You JUST THOUGHT i was a bad blogger...

but life is going to get really busy this week. So i am telling you all now... PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE be patient with me. I hope by end of the week to be settled and blog updating but until then...

Too many days to count...

{ok so I felt bad for not having a pic...

PLUS... it is just getting depressing knowing that SUMMER is coming to an end soon...Ya, ya, ya... I know we still have one month and 2 days until school starts but our family will be doing some traveling for about two weeks so when we get back it will be time to get in the groove of school!!

Also, we have just been doing alot of the same...POOL, POOL, and POOL!! Some other fun activities have included...

• seeing the air show



• helping our friends move into their dream home



• cheeseburger in paradise party



• having a dog party



• dinner with the family

and such.... We have a fun filled weekend coming up... baseball game Friday night with our church and Saturday the nieces and nephew are coming up for the night. Looking forward to a fun time with ALL the kiddos!!

Sorry no pics to post... {ok i threw you a small bone with the pic above.} been busy getting my scrapbooking area organized and pictures printed. Working on a couple of "special" projects...{maybe pics later, LOL}

Anyway...I'm calling it a night. Just didn't want y'all to think I had forgotten about you!!

Oh, i put a FB memo out about great books you have read lately that I should take on vacation. Any suggestions from my BLOG Besties???

IT'S been a little crazy around here... about to head to in-laws to have family dinner. I will play catch up tomorrow or later tonight.

Day 43.. And I have been CRAFTY....

So my sweet friend at Jumpin In did the CUTEST chip board book! Here is her link. I had to run to Target as you know from reading my blog and picked up ALL the books they had there...{remember they were only .99}

One of Number 1's dearest friends is going off to college in the fall. So we got her a gift card and I didn't want to put it in a run of the mill gift card holder... so TADAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I used the chip board book!! I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. Now Number 1 needs to sign it and the book we got her. Nothing like a late GRADUATION gift... but it WAS handmade with lots of LOVE!!

Good Luck at St. Michael's... you WILL be missed!!

Playing Catch Up... for days 37-41

Friday night was the dedication of our new youth building complete with a lock in for the junior and senior high kids.. very fun for the boys!!

Saturday was spent painting and painting and painting. Then we went to the Dive-In movie and the fireworks at the hotel... kids all on the blanket waiting for the festivities...

Sunday we had church and a BBQ lunch afterwards. Then it was pool time with friends, new and old... One of Number 1 sons former classmates from 1st and 2nd grade was in town so he got to hang out with her and her friends. It was nice to catch up with her mom as well. We got home cleaned up and then headed down to the bay for the fireworks display. Too bad that the beaches were roped off...

Monday was McSweetie's b'day. We started the day with painting... took a break for some tennis {yes, I dusted off my racquet} then more painting, followed by a small gathering of friends and family!!

Don't you just LOVE his cake!!

And now it is Tuesday and I have spent the day trying to print pics and ortho appointment for Number 2 son and turned in HIGH SCHOOL registration packet for Number 1 son, and organizing a cabinet full of JUNK!!!!!! I guess it is truly official now!!

I cannot choose one... I loved Saturday nights watching The Love Boat and Fantasy Island... I loved CAPTAIN KANGAROO... I watched THE DUKES OF HAZARD...ALL old shows.. I Love Lucy, Gilligans Island, I Dream of Jeanie....I could go on and on and on...
