Well, in 100 degree heat index at 10:30 am, the Astros played their Championship game. We were playing the Red Sox. And the Astros DOMINATED!!! We were scheduled to play 6 innings. But, the 10 run rule was in play so... We ended the game with a score of 12-1 in the 4th inning!! I don't know how much longer the kids could have played. The poor catcher on the other team had to call, "Time" b/c he had gotten too hot!! Bless his heart!! I really felt for him!!

Both teams received trophies!! I think RB is really proud!! It took a team to get them there, and he is always such a team player. I'm proud he exhibits such good sportsmanship while he is out there!! You won't see any tears shed over a bad game, no blaming the umps for bad calls, he just loves the game and has fun while he is out there!! I'm proud of you buddy!!!!
