You is Kind, You is Smart, You is IMPORTANT..

Finally went to see The Help. We have had mucho rain this weekend so yesterday after church we used my LivingSocial Fandango voucher and headed to the movies. I wasn't sure if the boys were going to like it but it was a UNANIMOUS THUMBS UP for all of us!

Afterwards we spent some time visiting with McSteamy's parents. Always enjoy our visits.

Today we ALL slept in! I finally woke up around 9:45. I NEVER get to do that! Now I am leisurely doing laundry, playing on the computer and about to grab my new book The Book Thief. Number 1 son had to read it this summer and LOVED it! So he has insisited that I read it. Lots of thumbs up from my friends so I should enjoy it. Number 2 son is finishing Mockingjay so I cannot wait to get my hands on it as well!

Sad our Royal family did not come for a visit. They were afraid that the weather would be too bad. But we enjoyed time with our friends... watching football... eating... eating.... drinking some YUMMY cocktails in honor of the tropical storm...family worship on Sunday with said friends... lunch at FIREHOUSE.....

Our long weekend has not been dampened by the weather. For us it was the perfect excuse to hunker down and not feel guilty for not doing any yard work etc.
