very long and lengthy! {between getting all my teacher stuff organized and back to school shopping} i went to Walmart today {tax free} and bought all the school supplies on the lists..... and i know darn well that the boys will come home with an addendum to the list on monday.

This is number 2 sons room.... please note the trumpet, backpack,
wallabees, new tennis shoes, 5 pairs khaki short, MWF shirts, polo shirts, and ALL
the supplies... I know it is almost $1,000!! For 6th grade people!!

Now number 1 son's room... thankfully his instrument did not
have to be purchased this year {that was 2 years ago!}
khaki shorts, MWF shirts, Polo shirts, school supplies
and GINORMOUS wallabees!! Thank goodness for 8th grade!!
{not near as pricey!!}
PLEASE TELL ME I AM DONE!!
What does back to school look like for you??

2 friends have left a message for us:
Mercy! is all I can say. We've got two paper boxes filled with supplies and today I'm hoping to hit the Gap in time for the last tax-free shopping day. Went to Hibbett's and Dick's for shoes last week. Still have some checks to write to fill up lunch accounts and to buy required supplies that must be purchased from the school. I'm surely forgetting something but ready or not we start on Wednesday =)
My lil' boy is only in the first grade and it is amazing what they have to have to be so young. But we managed to find everything except one lil' thing - a canvas pencil pocket - sold out every time we went to the store. Oh well. Your vacation looks like it was amazing and your hat in the header - tooooo cute! Love it - wouldn't mind having one myself. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Cathy
