And the Official Results...

are in...

1st place with a time of 49:37 was Number 1 son

2nd place with a time of 49:47 was Number 2 son

3rd place with a time of 59:53 was ME!!!!

4th place with a time of 1:04.06 was McSweetie!!

I am so proud of all of us! I hear that Number 1 and number 2 played leap frog the entire race and it was the last stretch that Number 2 had to pause because he felt like he was going to throw up {which has been known to happen during CC season!} So I guess Number 1 just took over and Number 2 just couldn't quite catch him. The cruel part of the race is you finish uphill!! And it is a LONG uphill when you have just completed 6 miles!!

My goal was accomplished by finishing in less than an hour!

McSweetie just wanted to run his first 10K and he did!!

Our friends ran as well and at mile 5 I was crossing over a speed bump {you know to slow my pace down, LOL} and I said to the runner next to me "We've got this!!" and kept on going. I never looked at who it was but it was my friend Howie!! He thought I knew it was him. But when I am running I am pretty focused on just what is in front of me! Any whoooo he was funny about it and liked my shout out!

Michele came in at about 1:08 and it was her first 10K!

Afterwards we enjoyed lunch at one of our favorite celebrity hot spots... If you have ever watched DDD and know where I live then you know where we ate!

Afterwards I volunteered with pet adoptions then it was home to get cleaned up to take Number 2 son and his friend to rock climb for his Birthday! Afterwards a yummy dinner at Macaroni Grill then home for the night! WIPED OUT!! I slept so well!!

This am I helped with the Booster club selling drinks/sausage dogs! YUM!!

Now home to clean so we can get ready for SNF at our house!
