So I Couldn't Sell My Mom on the Kefir...

But we have been enjoying the smoothies for breakfast in the morning. Little banana, protein powder, strawberries, honey and a splash of coconut milk!! YUMMY!!

We woke this morning to a FABULOUS thunderstorm!! Perfect way to wake up.

They boys are leaving this afternoon for a team swim meet = parents stay home!!

Planned a date night with McSweetie... then found out we have to go to a work related function. Thought ok, let's check into staying a night at the casinos. Uh, not this Friday night! But I am working on a little surprise for someone's b'day....

Fun weekend with my parents.. yummy food, Hot Air Balloon Festival {kind of a DUD!} and just a relaxing weekend. McSweetie's parents came over for lunch for Father's Day. Nice to have all the men together.

Planning a dinner cruise with some friends for the first weekend in July. Wow, one month of summer has slowly slipped away.

Met with our new headmaster yesterday. I will be teaching Art only this year. Probably only one day a week. Wonder how I will fill the other days....After breezing through our local Pottery Barn the other day I would love to work there!! Maybe even just in the stocking room. It is so pretty, the tablescapes... cozy sofas... luxurious bedding, soothing paint...

Or even next door at Williams Sonoma. I really want this! My Bible study this summer has inspired me in the ways of cooking and really focusing on the importance of my family. Having pure thoughts and intentions. Putting my HUSBAND second {God is first ya know}. I have had mixed up priorities over the past years but beginning this year I have REALLY tried to change that. I think we are seeing some good fruit from our new choices.

Happy Wednesday to all y'all out there. I am off to make some oatmeal raisin cookies for the boys to take to the meet!!

I think that you working PT at Pottery Barn or WS would DEFINATELY help in getting any type of prioroties in line -- LOL.

A job at either of them would be amazing!! Oh the deals, scratch and dents and returns you'd have first dibs at. Go for it, girlie ;-)
