"Loaded" question

This morning my McSweetie asks me, "Are you going to be around today?" Code: You need to be around b/c "x" needs to be done.

I reply, "Yes, what do you need?"
"Well, I am on my emergency underwear."

My response, "I would love to do the laundry today."
Now keep in mind it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS outside and the last thing I want to be doing is laundry. So I IMMEDIATELY start a load and get the ball rolling. Now to his credit he had no way to wash last week and I am remiss in doing the laundry over the weekend. So, his request was valid!!


So, in between meetings and a luncheon I have caught up on the laundry!! Only for it to reappear again tonight!! But hey, we all know what it's like having to wear our emergency underwear!!
