"What's for DESSERT?" You see at our house there is ALWAYS something for dessert... be it a cookie, piece of gum, hot chocolate, whatever. It completes the meal. Sometimes it is the only reason for the meal!!
I told you all about the cookbook I was reading Saturday and found this recipe in it...
Minute Chocolate Mug Cake
1 coffee mug
4T plain flour
6T sugar
2T baking cocoa
1 egg
3T milk
3T oil
3T chocolate chips {optional}
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the mild and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and vanilla and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake WILL rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow cake to cool a little and tip it out onto a plate. EAT!!! OH MY GRACIOUS!!! It was AWESOME!!!
Ladies this is DANGEROUS!!! 3 minutes until a yummy chocolate cake? I did not need to know this. Not when it's Mardi Gras season and I need to fit in a dress!!
