It was a WET weekend!

Number 1 son was back in the water with his year round swim team. He swam for the High School this fall so the year round team took a back seat. Plus it gave him a little break from his rigorous practice schedule. I think he has returned fresh and motivated! He had a great meet. Lowered all of his times significantly!! Of course I have to think how much lower his times might have been, but that is just the mom in me.

Number 2 son was able to spend his time with a friend rather than battling the elements of the meet. It was a RAINY day Saturday and then the cold front moved in so it was COLD on Sunday. Our team sets up tents outside for us to have snacks and sit together. I enjoyed it Saturday despite the rain, but Sunday... I spent alot of time inside. I would rather listen to the noise than FREEZE!!!

Today was a self imposed "ME" day. I went to the gym to work out and then came home and really did nothing. I did do some laundry so I wouldn't feel all that guilty. Not that I would!! LOL

I see my girlfriends were quite productive at their retreat! 64 pages for one and 52 for my other friend. Oh well, I am always behind! That's ok. What would I do if I was caught up? Also learned that my mom fell victim to the Cricut Expression infomercial!! I love it!! I can't wait to go home and use it. And of course she will have to bring it here EVERY TIME she comes! {I have the baby cricut but would LOVE the MOMMA cricut!}

Remember I said my birthday is this month; you have 8 more shopping days!! I had asked for a sewing machine. Well, mom brought my gift at Christmas and I didn't think it was a sewing machine. Well, yesterday she tells me that in her Sunday School class she asked if anyone had a sewing machine that they weren't using and would like to give away. Lo and behold, yesterday a sweet lady brought one she had still new in the box. I am SEW excited. I can't wait!! I will get it when we go for our girl's trip!! {I'm excited about that too!!}

No pics to post 'cause I didn't take any at the meet. I mean how many swim pics do you need? And nothing else interesting has happened lately to take pics of!! Maybe next time. Till then...
