Finally... I can get some pictures on here! Of course I wanted to add a few more and it wouldn't let me! Oh, well... maybe next time!! So let's see where do I begin... Let's start with the most important news which is...

My FIL made it out of surgery!! The Dr's had told us he had a 10% chance of coming out of the surgery but 0% chance if he didn't have the surgery. Seeing as how the 10% was better than the 0% the decision was made to go with the surgery. Seems that he had a ruptured appendix. I have found out that it presents with the same symptoms as the bowel obstruction. So they took care of that and cleaned up some other scar tissue and that was that. He is recovering nicely in the SICU and hopefully can be moved to a room soon!! We are all so thankful for the thoughts and prayers that you have all offered up on our behalf. Our God is an AWESOME God!!

Prior to Monday's surgery, McSweetie and I enjoyed a night out with friends at the Crewe of Columbus Ball. We have gone the past 2 years and we have the best time. The best part is the band Fly by Radio {i think that is their name} and they are SOOOO FUN!!! Now my shoes didn't last the evening so next year it's a hot dress with flip flops!!

Monday is the day that my society parades... the day starts with everyone meeting for lunch and such which I missed b/c Number 1 son had pics for his Southeastern's Team and then we went up to the hospital for the surgery. The time that I go out to the parking lot to move my MIL's car to a "legal" spot is when the Dr. comes in and tells everyone that all went well and that he was out!! But I hustled my little fanny into my costume and had McSweetie drop me as close to the ball as possible.. ran in dropped my stuff down, fixed myself, fixed a drink and then headed off for my first ride!! And let me tell you .... It was a blast!! I enjoyed seeing my little students and throwing them fun stuff!! And the people all actin' crazy for beads and such!! I had to laugh 'cause I know I act just that crazy on that side too!! They said the ride took 1 1/2 hours but it flew by!! Then it was into the ball for call outs and meet my hot date!! WE danced all night long on the front row!! McSweetie deserved a night to let loose. And he did just that!!

So today the kids all went back to school except for my Number 2 son who has a had a fever for the past 2 days. I think it's just a cold but the Flu is running RAMPANT here!! It's a gorgeous day so I am about to go back out and enjoy the warm sun on my lily white body!! Oh how I can't wait for summer!!
