Fun with our "royal" Friends!!

This is why I think people had the

right idea with arranged marriages!

We know the family {& really like them}

and then don't they just make a cute couple??!

I'm just sayin', LOL

We had the best time with our sweet friends this weekend! Once they finally got here {around midnight on Thursday!!} We enjoyed our Friday by eating at one of the many fabulous diners that Diner's Drive In's and Dives has featured and that would be our very own Panini Pete's. We enjoyed yummy panini's and burgers!! Of course you have to take a stroll around downtown where I found that my FAVORITE author, MARY KAY ANDREWS, had been in town the night before signing her new book, FIXER UPPER. Of course we both had to buy a signed copy. Then we strolled around some more. I am desperately trying to find some blue sear sucker tom's in a size six!! My favorite shoe store had gotten some in in red but had already called someone before me on the list. {I really think they didn't know to call me b/c in the book it didn't say which tom's I wanted, hmmm} Anyway after that we {some of us} headed to the scrapbook store that is soooo fabulous, Gigi's and then to the outlets where I found 2 really cute skirts.

We enjoyed a fun dinner at MellowMushroom then a little shopping at Sam's to get some rations for our River Wild trip on Saturday. Which was sooooo much fun!! We enjoyed a day of canoeing down the river. The older kiddos had their own canoe and were quite pros at it! Some of us had a harder time, not sayin' who!! Next time there will be some definate tubers instead of canoers. Then we came home to some very YUMMY BBQ that i had in the crock pot. {if i can get more pics to upload you will see the very cute dinnerware I had for the 4th!! Thanks to mom and her connections!!}

We went to the bay to watch the fireworks only to have a slight accident. Our littlest friend had cut her foot on something in the water. It was pretty bad... but a Dr. that was on sight said we should be ok and we cleaned it really well and bandaged it up! Once we got home our little friend said she wanted to sleep on the sofa in the living room with Number 1 son {who was sleeping on the other couch} {again if I can upload pics there is a cute one of her trying to coax Annie to sleep with her on the sofa!!}

Now Sunday am we had to watch Wimbledon. I watched til the end when I finally had to get in the shower and when I jumped out and ran in the bedroom Federer had just won!! I missed it!! oh, well!!

Then it was off to the races to get our friends out the door to head down to the beach for McSweetie's surprise 4oth birthday party! We arrived and McSweetie had no idea that all his friends and family would be at his parents condo!! We did it!! I was so afraid that he had found out. He knew something might have been up but that it would be later that night at our house!!

A BIG thanks to all our friends for making the drive to the beach!! Y'all are the BEST!! {hopefully I can upload those pics but they are on my camera which the program is on the dead computer!}

We had the best time this weekend and hated for it to end.
