I had ALL good intentions to get back in my bed this am. Last day of FALL BREAK... what a great way to finish it with a great book and a cup of cocoa. Even dressed to take the kids to school and had my flip flops on so I could just kick them off when I got in the door. Even had to be out the door EARLY this am for a mini STUDY PARTY for the IB kid's HUGE History Exam this am... See up early perfect to go back to bed.
Well, the guilt got to me.. Little voice says... You can be finished and back home from your run by 8am... go get it done. DANG!!! I run get my shoes and socks. I decide OK, I will run the course backwards today to prepare for tomorrow... Now here's the deal... Backwards it is much MORE FUN!! LESS INCLINES!! Can I run it backwards tomorrow and still get credit?? Why don't they just run it backwards?? Hey, I'm just sayin...
So finish the run, go into store to see if Race Packs will be ready today, NOPE!! Have to arrive early tomorrow to get them. Look I'm really just in it for the T-Shirt... it is so STINKIN' cute!! Ran into one of my buds so we made lunch plans. All things work out the way they are supposed to! :o)
Came home, ate breakfast, worked on scrapbook, received phone call I had been expecting then headed out door to PILATES. Hopefully that will help stretch out these SORE muscles. Then back home to work on scrapbook and journaling for said scrapbook. It is almost done and I am so excited!!
I feel that I have had a pretty low key week... I have enjoyed my down time. I love that I have scrapbooked, spent time with friends, cooked, even cleaned a little. And still have a little time to spare.
The weekend is FULL of fun... Halloween decorating tonight, Run tomorrow, Halloween Party tomorrow night, Party for Number 1 son, Cotillion Classes Sunday and a REALLY BIG DEAL...
Happy Anniversary to my McSweetie... 18 years on Sunday!! I LOVE that man of mine!! I'd do it all over again... every bit of it!! The Better and the WORSE!! LOVE YOU!! {Not that you read this ;o) }
