What we see as imperfections...

may just be what God uses for HIS perfection!!

I have sweet friends back home that we used to go to church with who over the summer after MANY years of waiting were FINALLY able to adopt a child from China. They are a little older than we are and the clock was ticking for them with the whole age thing. When they started the adoption process they requested a child that had no special needs. Well, like I said the age clock was ticking and they had to make a decision... change their request or possibly be taken out of the ability to adopt. They made the decision to take a special needs child and within SIX days had their little girl... 11 fingers and all!!

She is the most adorable little girl I have seen and I have completely fallen in love with my friend's blog. First I do love reading about Princess but what I LOVE the most is that it is DAD that writes the BLOG!! To read his thoughts about life with a DD in his house is one of the most adorable things!!

So today I am hopping over and he is writing about the upcoming surgery to remove the extra digit. And he writes...

Mom said she gets emotional when she thinks about the extra thumb being removed. It may , after all, have been the reason for the Princess being orphaned. And if she had not been abandoned, we would not have this little one whom we adore. What may be seen as imperfection, the Almighty used for bringing our daughter to our home. All of her fingers are precious to us. If it weren't for the difficulty and curiosity it causes now and will cause later, we’d leave it alone.

Just wanted to share with you out there. How sweet is that?? Our God is such a MIGHTY GOD!! Who uses ALL things for the PERFECTION of HIS PERFECT PLAN!!!
