Firsts..

I've been busy posting about lasts that I need to post a first... Our FIRST MUD RUN! We hopped in the car early this am and headed East. After some interstate excitement and several phone calls to 911... We were safely on the road. Picked up our race packets and hung out until race time. There were some great costumes. We were the Beastie B's.

Of course this is pre-race! I carried my phone with me and #1's inhaler (just in case) so it all got a little muddy explaining the POST pics...










The boys left us!! Said next year we are teams of TWO! But McSweetie and I stayed together the whole time!

There was a challenger side and WARRIOR SIDE. We were WARRIORS and the obstacle were challenging. Because the run benefitted orphans from Africa, Haiti and the Ukraine some of the challenges were related to their life experiences such as water toting... Carrying rice bags..mud mountains... Etc!

For the first run I'd say they executed it very well!! Much cheering along the way... Plenty of water... Never was confused as to where to go! Props to them! We will be back next year!!

Now heading home for a LONG HOT SHOWER!!
