Empty Nesters...

Well, only for the weekend!  The boys have taken a team trip to The Plains for a swim meet.  And from what I hear they are doing REALLY WELL!!

{Which I must confess, that I have been concerned that Number 1 was going to hang up his speedo because the last year or so has been BLAH!!!! at best.  I truly think that his diagnosis of asthma and the treatment he is NOW getting has gotten him back in the game/water!  WHEW!!!  I hated to think all of his hours of dedication...early morning swims, time away from friends... was going to be for nothing.  I am not saying he is for sure wanting to swim in college, but had he quit that definitely would not be happening!!  It also help this summer that he has two good friends back in the water with them.. one home from college and one back in the states. So things are bubbling up :-) }

McSweetie and I had a triple date last night with friends.  We went to see Rock of Ages!!  Story line kind of cheesy... {McSweetie had no idea it was a musical and was a little put off at first} but the music...  AMAZING!!!!!  I could have danced the entire time and SCREAM SINGED!!!


McSweetie is doing yard work... I am getting caught up indoors cause this week was AWFULLY BUSY!!!!

Father's Day will be bittersweet as we remember McSweetie's dad.  I am so glad we were all together last year for Father's Day!!  I treasure that picture!!
