And we celebrated a big one this week! Number one son turned 17!!! One of my dearest friends from back home wrote on his FB wall about remembering him being born and his homecoming! His first few days of his life were STRESSFUL! We spent a couple of days at the local children's hospital but thankfully all was fine. He is such a delightful ( can you say that about a guy?) young man. I could not be more proud of him and ALL he has accomplished in his 17 years! I guess I would have to be most proud to know that he is a "Kingdom kid" and he delights in The Lord. All the other stuff is just that, stuff. I know he has eternal life and nothing is better than knowing that about your child especially in light if today's tragedy. I pray for all those taken today. Yet even though we SO DO NOT understand the "why's" I can take comfort in knowing my God is bigger than that and has not changed from who he has ALWAYS BEEN.
