WOW!!!!!!

This kid was ON FIRE this weekend!! I am so proud of ALL of his hardwork... including in the pool and out (as he is learning to deal with his asthma). He got out of his first swim STUNNED to see that he had dropped 7 seconds!! That's HUGE!! Ok, so his next swim he gets out and has dropped another 3 seconds!! AGAIN, HUGE!! The touch pads did not work on his second swim and I was about to come unglued! I knew that he had done well so he sees me in the stands and give me a high five and a high five. Then I realize that he was giving me his time! I about died!! Overall he ended up 9th and 12th in the state. Lil brother did well as well... finishing as first alternate in both of his events. What a long way he has come since swimming only one event last year at state! It was a beautiful weekend on the plains. I so enjoyed my visits with two of my besties from college. They haven't changed a bit!!

The ride home was eventful... there was a big game on and it was KILLING me not to see it on TV but ya gotta love Eli Gold!! I think I was about to drive McSweetie nuts with all my wiggling in my seat. He did offer to find a restaurant for me to watch it in. But I was ready to get home. I am busy working in my workshop making STATEments!! Not sure when the Christmas decor is going to go up.... Tis the season to be jolly!! And I intend to make it the jolliest and merriest of all!! {Even if I don't get a tree up!!} {And somebody PLEASE tell me how to get paragraphs again.....this is killing me!!!}
