Blowing out the candles on the donuts!!
Yesterday R celebrated his 1/2 birthday, 10 1/2. (Remember this is a Nana/Grandaddy thing). You get to have donuts, we sing every other word of "Happy Birthday to You" and a gift is also given. So at 8:30pm last night after everyone was FINALLY home, we had the "birthday" celebration even though Nana and Grandaddy were not here. We had "gem" donuts and R received a "ripstick." (My friend Lisa has already thanked me in advance for funding her trip to Disney next year. You're welcome! Hope you will take a friend!!)
On a not so fun note, S had his physical yesterday for Swim team and ended up having to have 2 shots! Thanks Dr. Drew! So S woke up with a very sore arm today! But hey, we won't get chicken pox and if we get stuck by a rusty nail...
Of course we are all ready for the weekend. Cards tonight!! Hope it is a good one for y'all too!!
