Plate... FULL!!!

Found out today that S made jazz band at school. I don't think this mom can handle anymore commitments! Don't get me wrong, I am VERY PROUD of their accomplishments; I'm just a little overwhelmed by it all. I don't know how single parents do it!! I'm glad that I don't have to go down that road.

Still trying to get the remnants of Gustav out of the house. I did a good job of finishing off the cake. Cleaning on the other hand is BLAH!!! I must be "ADD" when it comes to that area of my life.

Gotta run and get R ready for f'ball this afternoon. I am actually going to go down to the club and hit some balls. I need a little stress relief!!

Happy Thursday!!

"Trust in the Lord forever," Isaiah 26:9 It should be easy to trust 'cause He is the most trustworthy person I know!!

3 friends have left a message for us:

Hey girl...got your message! I updated blog, I am alive, BARELY!

I have said the same about being a single parent, God Bless them. (although I pretty much AM one during storm season!!)

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks things will be normal and we can do lunch and catch up!!

Hello Amy! What a treat to find your comment on my blog a couple of weeks back. I tried to connect to your blog on that day, but couldn't get the link to work properly. So i asked your mom last week at church for contact info. (Church was about to start, and I didn't see her afterward, but a notecard arrived in my mailbox late in the week with your address, phone number and e-mail address.) Before I had opportunity to e-mail you, though, I clicked your link again, and low and behold, found that you do have a blog. So I've sat here for close to an hour reading through your previous posts, and your caring bridge links. I'm astounded at the boys (Simon's hair, so fun!), love all your cool (Amy-ish) sidebar features (like the photos of your favorites and the books you've read this year), and just the general peek into your life there in Fairhope. The difficult journeys of your friends on the caring bridge were sobering -- but their faith is inspiring and a real-life testament to Grace; though I don't know them, I'll try to remember to pray for them.

Praise God for blogs, which bridge the distance. Tell Mark and the boys hello.
