Life is settling down, I think. My FIL has been moved to a Step Down facility so he can work on getting his strength up so he can go HOME!! We all visited yesterday and were surprised to see friends from back home there visiting as well.

My parents have been in town for the weekend. We enjoyed a YUMMY dinner Friday night. Saturday a day of shopping for me and mom and Number 1 son. We had to get R's birthday gift. Then my mom and I spent the afternoon using her Cricut EXPRESSION!! {Yes, I am jealous!!} The boys enjoyed going to the shooting range, Bass Pros Shop and a visit with my FIL. While Mom and I took S to the MS pageant. All the girls were beautiful!!

Sunday we enjoyed late service at church. Then a good lunch at one of our FAVORITE Mexican restaurants. Afterwards, R had his first b'ball practice. McSweetie took him and said it is going to be a good season!! Look, Coaches make or break a team and our last experience with a Coach for R was a "breaking" season. I knew it was going to be good before I even met this coach because his email to the parents started... I was lucky enough to pick your young man.... REFRESHING!!!!

After b'ball we went to visit my FIL. Then it was home to cook the birthday dinner, STEAKS!!!!! Ooooo, they were mighty good!! I also made his birthday cake, Milk Chocolate Bar Cake from SL. Oh, it is a good one!!

Now it is Monday, it was DARK when I got the kiddos up for school (about 20 minutes late) but we made it out the door on time!! My parents have headed home and I am going to enjoy a lazy day of catch-up!!
