I took the bookshelves out of my bedroom and moved them to the

kitchen. I really like the look in here! Plus I have a

place to put all my cookbooks. {If you know of

a good cookbook local to your area...

let me know, those are the best!}




The bunnies are out and my bouquet is on my

Happy Everything Plate!!

He's just cute!!

I bagged this bunny at Pier 1. I made the bow

around his neck and put some ivy in him!!

I still need some more reindeer moss but haven't

been up to Hobby Lobby.

The little eggs hanging from my chandelier are

inspired by a blog I ran across about making tassels and

my sil who had made some over Christmas!! My bunny

came from one of my bestest buddies from back home!!

I love his round cheeks!

So that's a little blip about what has been going on around here!! SPRING FLUFFING!!

The weather has not been great the past couple of days and is going to continue on into the weekend. Which puts a damper on Opening Day of Baseball Season {number 2 son}

I guess the BIG news going on is that I have gone on strike!! I'm tired of not being appreciated for the things that I do. Now I don't expect accolades everyday about how wonderful I am... best mom, great cook, beautiful wife, wonderful housekeeper, etc... but I would like a little thank you now and then for making that special trip up to Bass Pro Shop just because... or for folding and putting away your laundry instead of leaving it on the foot of your bed. And is it really that difficult to put your dishes in the dishwasher??! I mean come on people... I'm out of the house 4 days a week now and a little help would be appreciated!!

So last night I went on a 24 hour strike. I didn't wake the kids this am, didn't make their b'fast or lunches. I only took them to school. And what a pleasant morning it was. I didn't even get out of the bed until 6:45!! I think I may need to go on strike more often!! NUmber 2 son even cleaned up his room AND closet!! WOW!!

Well, I guess that is about it! It's raining again. I think I am going to change out of my "arty" clothes and put on shorts and a T-shirt and read The Help until I need to go pick up Number 1 son from Bible Study!!
