I have had the house to myself since Thursday night. The boys made a trip back home and I have had all weekend to do "me" things. Thursday night Annie and I watched Marley and Me. {Yes, we both cried!! LOL}
Friday, woke up leisurely and browsed FB and blog hopped with no one to ask "what's for breakfast? Can we go to Bass Pro??" I got ready and headed out the door. First stop was a cute little pharmacy that has very CUTE gift items. Picked up a gift for my MIL for her Birthday coming up next month. Then it was a stop to my favorite scrapbook store. Where Mary helped me put together the cutest book for the boy's play. Then it was further south to have lunch with my in-laws. My FIL is progressing and I know he is glad to be at home. Then it was further south to the BEACH!!! Yes, I made it to the beach {for all of about 15 minutes... way too windy!!} Then it was a little more shopping at some of my favorite stores then homeward bound. Where I pulled out my new scrapbook items and got to work! Watched House as I worked. {Made me think of Number 1 son... we LOVE House!!} Got tired and went to bed.
Woke up Saturday and headed out to the tennis courts. Stopped at Sonic for a junior b'fast burrito afterwards. Then it was more scrapbooking. Lunch... scrapbooking... then off to a friend's house where we drove around town looking at old houses for sale {one of my all time favorite past times} Then back to her house for a little decorating and movie watching... Kite Runner. Very good! Then home and a little laundry folding then to bed to watch Bedtime Stories... fell asleep and didn't finish it!
Woke up this am and went to the early service and Sunday school. Home for lunch and cleaning to get ready for the week ahead. Finished watching Bedtime Stories and now am chatting with y'all.
The boys should be heading out soon. They spent a little more time visiting with friends. I know that they have had a ball... as have I. I think we all needed a little R&R.

BTW...we are heading south to OB the day school gets out which is 5/22. Maybe we can do lunch one day. I want to go to GiGi's this time when I'm there. If you are going to be home that weekend and the next week, pencil me in one day ;-)
I'm hoping to do Disney at the retreat but still haven't developed pics or bought all the stuff I will need. May just be same ole' same ole' but who cares as long as we are scrappin! TTFN
Wow. I can't imagine a weekend without my boys. Mine are a little younger (9, 5 and 7 months). This next year when my three oldest start going to regular school I will have way more free time than I have ever had. It will be crazy, but I am sure I will be able to fill the time up with something... ;)
Sounds like a fun time. We're down to 20 days of school... I can hardly believe it! I hope this weekend is as good as the last one for you! Now if I could just get rehired!!
