I cannot tell a lie...

I didn't make my recipe Monday night. (I know, for some of you my image of perfection has been shattered and for others of you, you have always known that I am not perfect!!) The day just got away from me and I ended with the boys fixing their own very healthy dinner of chicken and french fries while I was at the MS open house. (Actually I have another confession and that is that R cooked dinner for both of them b/c S was at swim practice.) But I digress...

Let me just say that the new school is BEAUTIFUL!! I wish I had had a school that nice when I was in Jr High. Unfortunately mine is now demolished b/c of sinkholes in my hometown. Oh well!! And even the High School is being revamped and a new one built for $70 million. Can't wait to go home and see it. I think the students move in during their fall break!

Tuesday got "captured" by the gals to go to lunch... Panini Pete's... Oh okay!! Then I ran to ESC to sign the signature card at the right bank. Then it was FIS Open house and f'ball practice.

Now, I did make the recipe last night and the boys LOVED the pork chops!! McSweetie was mad that I only made enough for the night (You see the B family is not always very good about eating leftovers and since I cleaned out the fridge the other weekend I just decided to make enough for 1 meal with maybe a lunch portion leftover).

School today for me! Went well, thanks for asking. Only 1 more day of work this week. I know it's tough but someone has to do it!

The boys should be walking in any minute so I must end our little fireside chat! Hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day!!

"What is desired in a man is kindness," Proverbs 19:22 May I be that person today... well I guess I should be that person EVERYDAY!!! I know some of you are thinking... Good luck with that!!

4 friends have left a message for us:
