Think I will try it in the crock pot and have asparagus and mashed potatoes with it for dinner tonight when everyone finally gets home, McSweetie works late, S starts swim practice and I have MS Open House after tennis!
The boys helped in the yard on Saturday and before finishing it started to rain, kinda put McSweetie over the edge so I took off out of the house and started dancing in the rain!! Ok, I know, what was I thinking, but hey it was fun!! R joined me then McSweetie while S took pictures to document my moment of insanity. Hey, it worked though, we had a blast outside in the rain and I am sure we gave the neighbors something to talk about which is always a bonus!! So here are the pics of our Saturday...

We ended the day watching the Olympics with friends. I about lost it when the Romanian woman who had to quit the marathon ( 2 miles from the finish line) in the 2004 Olympics entered the stadium... All those people cheering just for her, what a moment. And the USA relay! Awesome job!!
Sunday church, lunch with friends, more yard work, walking with McSweetie where I proceeded to fall down on the trail we were walking, have I ever mentioned that I don't like walking with speed and purpose in the woods?? He leans down to help me up and I yell at him that he can't help me he has a bad back!! Anyway, did make it through another lap in the woods without incident!
And now it is Monday am, the house is quiet and DIRTY!! So I must go and clean!!
Thanks Amy for calling me to walk this am!!
Have a great week... Only 35 weeks left of school!! (not including holidays and breaks!!)

3 friends have left a message for us:
Where is this wooden trail??? I need to go there!
It is the frisbee golf trail by the ballparks/football field. You mean you don't frequent it??
Looks like y'all had a fun fun fun weekend!
